Black Community Employment & Empowerment
Our Skills Development Programs empower participants to gain hands-on skills that can lead to self-employment or open doors to new career paths. With a focus on traditional and contemporary crafts, these workshops include training in areas like traditional hair styling, nail art, knitting, tailoring, and more. Each program is designed not only to impart valuable technical skills but also to preserve cultural heritage, passing down traditional methods and arts that reflect the identity and pride of our communities.
Participants learn from experienced instructors who provide guidance, mentorship, and practical techniques, helping them to transform their interests into viable income streams. Whether it’s starting a small business, offering services in their community, or simply developing a new hobby, the Skills Development Programs provide a platform for personal growth, economic empowerment, and community resilience. At BCEES, we believe in fostering talent and creativity, one skill at a time.
